Karine Ruby Dies in Climbing Accident

Karine Ruby born on January 4, 1978 and died last May 29, 2009 was a French snowboarder and Olympic champion. 1998 Winter Olympics, she won the gold medal in Nagano. Karine Ruby, former Olympic snowboarding champion, died in a climbing accident on Friday. 31-year-old Ruby fell into a crevasse on France’s famed Mont Blanc while guiding a tour near Chamonix.
